Do you remember being told a story around a fire- whether it was the crackling of a campfire, or the dancing flames of a hearth? There's a feeling of warmth and comfort that comes with stories like that, be they scary stories told huddled together, stories of joy to ward off the chill, or tales packed with action and adventure told well past bedtime. Fireside stories draw you in and surround you, crackling with equal measures of good humor and moments of raw emotion.
That is the storytelling tradition I come from, and it's the magic I bring to each project my voice is entrusted with.
I've used my voice professionally in one way or another since I was 12 years old: in children's theatre and college musicals, as a cantor and lector, and as a public speaker and small group facilitator for six years. I've been a member of a nationally run LARP since 2017, bringing multiple characters to life in high stakes, improvised situations.
Since September 2024, I've had the privilege of bringing stories from multiple different genres to life. While sci fi fantasy is my 'go-to', I have also done work in memoir, horror, dark fantasy and children's books.
I also work under a pseudonym for mid to high spice romance. Though audiobook narration is my main focus, I have also been involved in dramatic podcasts and multiple voice over events.
When not in the booth, I am either spending time with my three children, dancing, playing video games or reading for fun.
