About Devon

Headshot

Professional female voice over artist Devon Roe delivers high-quality, fresh and compelling VO services from her home studio in Sacramento, California. Her voice is a versatile blend of a warm and summery "California girl" vibes with a sultry, gravely edge.

Devon earned her B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley, and has been acting in stage and film for over twenty years in the United States and Ireland. She has performed with internationally renowned Irish street performance troupe Macnas, and earned a five star review for her role as Mills in Lee Blessing's Lonesome Hollow with Big Idea Theatre in 2014. She also had the honor of playing Susan Coffin in the world premier of I Dream of Chang and Eng by celebrated American playwright Philip Kan Gotanda in 2011. She has been recognized for her vulnerability, chameleon-like character work (often playing characters far beyond her age range,) and her knack for picking up regional accents and dialects.

As a singer, Devon (mezzo soprano) has performed leading roles in several musicals, in acapella choirs at the collegiate level, and sung harmony as the second half of a female folk cover band alongside Eimear Bradley of The Bradley Sisters.

When she is not behind the mic, you can find Devon writing songs, learning Spanish, or paddle-boarding on the lake with her dog, Pip.
