Morgan is a recovering Hermione Granger, and a hopeless Nancy Drew. Raised in a military family, she lived all over the globe before landing in L.A.
She’s trained in N.Y.C. (Stella Adler), studied Shakespeare in London (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), and has a degree in Classical Literature — not to mention a decade of bedtime story training as a nanny, where her critics were brutally honest and impossibly sweet.
Her voice has been described as reassuring, soulful, and timeless. It’s “...a blanket that warms the soul on
a cold winter’s night.” As well as “playfully honest,” like “an Irish melody with an American accent.”
Morgan's understanding of the classics lends an added strength to modern fiction. Her mixed
Japanese/European heritage has carved an inherent appreciation for cultural complexity and the bridge
that human connection provides. She loves a story that challenges the status quo—helping flawed,
unexpected heroes come to life through her voice.
Favorite genres to narrate are YA or Adult Fantasy, Cozy Mystery, Historical Romance, Female Driven
Literary Fiction, and Sci-Fi. She’s narrated for Penguin Random House, Audible, Harper Collins,
Dreamscape Media, Tantor Media, and Graphic Audio.
Outside of the booth, you’ll find her wood-burning art onto forest scraps, enjoying a cup of Yorkshire Gold,
and forever planning her next adventure.
