Hi, I'm Trent! I do voice over work!
As a bit of history, it was during my final year in university in my Japanese class that I was selected to read the explanation of the grammar we were studying. Upon finishing my read of the passage, I looked up to see most of the class just looking in my direction, leaving me a bit confused. However, we continued with our lesson as normal. After class, one of my classmates suggested, "can you say the line from the Fitness Gram pacer test? Your voice reminds me of him". As I said the line, a bunch of my classmates laughed, and as we walked on our way out, they suggested I try to get into podcasting or voice over of some sort. It was at this moment that I decided I'd give voice over a try, and with much of the free time that Covid would soon offer me, I took the plunge.
In 2021, I took my first voice over class with Del Mar Media arts. This was a set of classes, cumulating with a meeting with various agents and even the head of casting at Disney. Many of the skills I accrued throughout these lessons are what I use today. From here, I decided to start looking for opportunities to lend my voice, and of which I found. In the following years, I would continue to attend seminars and be coached in the pursuit of honing my craft, while also working on projects.
Of all the projects I've worked on, my work on "Rainy Death" and with Angry Birds continue to be my most memorable. Moving forward, I am eager to expand upon this list!
