Have you not seen Part 1 or Part 2 yet? Check them out! We arrive at the final installment of our three-part guide to perfecting the cover letter for voiceover artists. This section will illuminate the finishing touches required to make your cover letter sparkle and stand out. Picture a Christmas tree; it's the sparkling lights and beautiful ornaments that transform it from a simple tree into a festive spectacle. Similarly, we will embellish your cover letter, illuminating its unique features.

Polishing the Introduction

Reflecting on the introduction ask, "Why are you passionate about the topic mentioned? How does it connect with you? Why is this client exceptional?" The language employed should flatter and reassure the potential client.

For instance, you could say, "Climate change is a significant issue, and your innovative approach is inspiring. I am eager to support your mission in every way possible." This sentence demonstrates a shared interest, admiration for the client's work, and a commitment to their cause.

Customizing the First Paragraph

The first paragraph should convey why you're the perfect solution to the client's problem. It's acceptable to acknowledge the hustle and bustle of their lives, as everyone can relate to this.

For example: ”I understand you're inundated with a constant stream of emails, texts, and phone calls. Sometimes, a little break can make a world of difference.

The P.S. - A Powerful Tool

The "P.S.," or postscript, is a potent tool, often grabbing the reader's attention even after the letter's formal conclusion. Research indicates that readers almost always notice the P.S., making it a valuable addition to your cover letter.

Wrapping Up the Voice Talent Cover Letter

Ensure your P.S. delivers a memorable, catchy message, like: “P.S. Be sure to get back to me quickly; we wouldn't want that coffee to get cold!

After revisiting each section and making necessary adjustments, don't forget to include your P.S.!
